We launched Mewmew Brand in 2021 because we saw a gap in the Polynesian market for pet apparel and accessories.
Mewmew Brand offers exclusive Polynesian themed pet apparel and twinning accessories. Designed in Australia and supporting animal welfare, our products not only enhance your pet’s style but also contribute to meaningful causes.
Through Mewmew Brand, we celebrate the love we have for our furbabies, our Polynesian culture, and the joy that animals bring into our lives.
As we grow, we have also introduced different products to our online store, proudly supporting fellow Polynesian and Aussie small businesses.
The Taufa Furbabies (Coco, Superman, Matilda and the late Mewmew) look forward to sharing their apparel, accessories and pet products with you.

My Journey to Becoming a Fur Mum
Mewmew Brand is more than a pet brand. It is deeply personal to me.
My journey to becoming a fur mum began long before Mewmew Brand existed. Life did not lead me down the traditional path of motherhood, and there were moments when that reality was not always easy for others to accept in a world that often has very clear expectations of what motherhood should look like.
But I believed that God has a plan for each of us long before we are born.
For me, that plan looked different from society’s expectations of motherhood. Instead of raising human children, my heart was gently led toward the animals who would become my family.
Becoming a fur mum filled my life with a love that is just as real, just as deep, and just as meaningful. Every day I am reminded that motherhood comes in many forms, and the love we give to the lives we care for is what truly matters.
My furbabies are my children. They are my comfort, my joy, and the reason I smile every single day.
Mewmew Brand was born from that love—not only for my own furbabies, but also for the furbabies of my siblings, my extended family, and every pet that is loved as part of a family.
This brand represents the belief that pets are not just animals.
They are family.

Why the Name Mewmew?
The heart behind Mewmew Brand will always be Mewmew.
Adopted in February 2008 and crossing the rainbow bridge in December 2024, Mewmew was the beginning of my journey as a fur mum.
She was my very first furbaby and the one who showed me just how special the bond between humans and animals can be.
Mewmew was an independent indoor cat who loved basking in the sun, occasionally sneaking away under the house for little adventures. She had the funniest habits … drinking from a water bottle, splashing in her water bowl like it was a swimming pool, and claiming the heater all to herself during winter.
Her absolute favourite treat was prawns.
Mewmew was given to me as a Valentine’s gift during my first Valentine’s Day as a wife. For sixteen years, she remained my Valentine.
She will always be loved and forever missed, forever in our hearts.
Meet the Mewmew Brand Team
Coco – Full Time Model & Quality Control Assistant
Adopted in January 2015, Coco is the older twin sister of Superman. Coco’s first love is taking the front seat of the car, followed by rolling around on the grass and smelling flowers during her long walks.
Superman – Full Time Model & Quality Control Manager
Adopted alongside his twin sister Coco in January 2015, Superman is the youngest of the furkids. He loves swimming and eating watermelon, followed closely by being a little bit sassy on his TikTok vlogs.
Matilda – Full Time Model & Backup Doggy Apparel Model
Adopted in September 2010, Matilda had a rough start to her fur life. She has since become the little travelling cat, enjoying getaways with her doggy siblings, basking in the sun, and happily being the third wheel to Coco and Superman.
